Our team crafted a website and brand identity for Sage East that mirrors the artist’s unique blend of timeless elegance and innovative visual storytelling. The design embraces a clean, minimalist aesthetic that allows Sage's emotionally charged imagery to take center stage. We utilized a carefully curated color palette and dynamic interplay of light and backdrops to echo her mastery of visual manipulation—each element is thoughtfully arranged to evoke a sense of raw, genuine emotion.

Selected to complement the signature tones of Sage’s work while conveying a sense of sophistication and professionalism, the colours are minimalist and sophisticated. The dark background allows the images to stand out prominently, making them the focal point of the website.

The website’s layout is intuitive yet immersive, reflecting Sage’s dedication to nuanced storytelling. Bold typography and subtle design cues create a visual rhythm that guides viewers through her compelling body of work, emphasizing both the beauty and the intentional representation inherent in her projects.

We designed Sage’s logo as a simple, elegant wordmark to reflect a mix of her femininity and masculinity energy. Keeping it legible but memorable.

TYPOGRAPHY

To balance out the structure of the logo, we opted for Romie as the single font for the website. The goal was to present Sage’s tonal work with a contemporary typeface that balances out the richness of the photos but also introduces a suave elegance to the website. The font works well in different weights and sizes, allowing for clear hierarchy in the design.
